Native Plant Gallery
This section of the GNPS website showcases Georgia's native plants, especially those found on GNPS plant rescues. A special effort has been made to show plants at various stages of their annual growth cycle in order to aid rescuers and others with plant ID. Click on a plant to see more pictures and a data sheet profiling the plant's characteristics, including flower and foliage descriptions, special attributes, natural habitat, cultural tips, and propagation methods. To view these and other plants, as they look this month, visit A Rescuer's Guide to Georgia Native Plants.
You may fill in your zipcode in the box to the right to learn your USDA Hardiness Zone. There will be a link below the zone information that you can click to see a state zone map and have access to much more climate information and some plant distribution maps. PLEASE NOTE: Following the link will take you off of the GNPS website. We have no control over the content or accuracy of any material on that website.
