Report of Berkeley Lake workday June 22, 2016
Four GNPS members met at the Henderson Nature Preserve Park at Berkeley Lake to conquer the hated, stubborn Liriope; a small battle was won. Other weeds, like Microstegium, mulberry weed, and chamberbitter were pulled, as well. A bottlebrush buckeye, a butterfly weed, and beebalm were blooming. A breeze kept the mid-ninety degree day comfortable.
After weeding, we enjoyed lunch together.
