In Marietta, Robin Allen’s home provides a woodland paradise and a sunny botanical garden. There’s an abundance of native plants too numerous to list completely. Native woodland plants found in the back yard include trilliums (Trillium catesbaei, Trillium cuneatum, and Trillium rugelii), turk’s cap lily (Lilium superbum), and royal fern (Osmunda regalis). The selection in the front yard are enough to slow down traffic, such as evening primrose (Oenothera fruticosa), gray beardtoungue, (Penstemon canescens), and anise hyssop (Agastache foeniculum). Robin received a much deserved gold award!
