Resident and Visiting Birds of the Chattahoochee

Speaker Joel Volpi will give us an introduction to the birds of Georgia. The avian fauna of Georgia will be discussed and illustrated by examples of migratory neotropical birds, permanent residents, and transient migrants that all can be observed in our state and more locally in North, Georgia. In addition attracting birds, feeding birds and keys to bird identification will be discussed.
