Last year Leighton Alston, a member of the West GA Chapter of GNPS, received a Gold Native Plant Habitat Certificate for his Heard County property.  The Gold Certificate requires a high quality habitat with a wide variety of native plants, no cultivation of invasives, and strong conservation practices. Leighton’s presentation will describe how this was achieved during many years of hard work, concluding with a photographic tour of this beautiful property as it looks today.
