Invasive Plant Removal at Amerson River Park

Members and friends are invited to join in the removal of non-native invasive plants from Amerson River Park in Macon on May 27, 2023 from 8 until 10 a.m. All participants must sign the GNPS activity waiver of liability at the event.
Target species include Chinese Tallow Tree, Mimosa, Bradford Pears, and Thorny Olive throughout the park!
Wear long sleeves, long pants, works shoes or boots, gloves, and a hat. Bring any garden tools you may have (such as bypass pruners, loppers, handsaws, weed wrenches) and a water bottle.
