Native Plant ID Workshop: Pines and Hemlocks

Learn how to identify the major pine and hemlock species of middle and north Georgia, including white pine, short leaf pine, pitch pine, Virginia pine, loblolly pine, Table Mountain pine, eastern hemlock, and Carolina hemlock in this field-oriented workshop in beautiful Tallulah Gorge State Park.   The trees’ ecology and habitat will also be covered.  Limit 14 people, GNPS and Georgia Botanical Society Members only.   Email Leslie Edwards at workshop4@gnps.org to register and learn more about the workshop.
