September 11, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

This field-oriented workshop will focus on how to identify members of the heath family, including blueberries, rhododendrons, azaleas, and sourwood, along the beautiful Vickery Creek trail by the Chattahoochee river. The ecology and habitat of these native plants will also be covered. This workshop is a repeat of the one held in the spring. To register, or for more information, email Susan Caster at workshop2@gnps.org.
The class is limited to 14 people, and open only to Georgia Native Plant Society and Georgia Botanical Society members. Meet at the Old Roswell Mill.
