Stone Mountain Propagation Project Workday

NOTE: We are starting our warm weather hours 9AM-11AM. We will be starting seeds, tending to the stock plants & may have seedling ready to transplant to larger pots. On going efforts; possibly watering plus any other site maintenance that needs attention. Our workdays are a great opportunity to learn more about native plants, propagation and stock maintenance.
The propagation effort goes on all year long, it’s success depends on regular volunteers, please consider spending a few hours with us sometime during the month, we have a workday scheduled every week.
To have the gate fee waived tell the attendant you are there for the GNPS workday.
Directions: GPS coordinates 33.812863, -84.158739, to the ‘Walking Trails’ parking lot.
If entering thru the WEST GATE off Memorial Dr take a LEFT, the parking lot is on the left in ~.2 mi. Park on the lower level & enter thru the small gate by the cabin. wonder on down to the other cabins/shelters.
From Hwy 78 and the main or EAST GATE, go straight then veer right at the y-intersection (toward Confederate Hall) the parking lot is on the right ~1mi.
