West Georgia Chapter Annual Fall Workshop

Topics will include the following presentations:
Mushrooms: foraging, gourmet, medicinal and the dangers of poisonous mushrooms by Ken Zinkand.
Ferns: identification and selection with ideas for creating a fern glen by Flo Hayes.
Creating Container Bog Gardens by Robert and Patsy Barr
Creating a Beautiful Butterfly and Pollinator Habitat with Native Plants by Carol Hight
Native Plant Fairy Gardens by Ann Ethridge.
Registration and shopping starts at 8:30am; the program begins at 9am.
Vendors include Metal Art Dude, Southern Home and Ranch, Suzanne Kniffen. Also James Hembree and the Boy Scouts will have bird houses, bat boxes, pollinator houses, and ferns while Ernest Koone of Lazy K Nursery will have great native plants like Oakleaf Hydrangea, Buttonbush, American Beautyberry (purple, pink and white forms), Grancy Graybeard, Blue-eyed Grass, Bottlebrush Buckeye, Red Buckeye, Ashe Magnolia, Sweet Shrub, Carolina Jessamine, Yellow Woodbine Honeysuckle as well as a selection of some of the newer native azalea selections.
GNPS WGA Chapter will also have lots of native plants for sale including Ferns, Cardinal Flower, and Bog Plants.
