Jill Gorman grows native plants from seed. She also hosts a garden workshop in the spring where she gives away some of her seedlings. The rest of the seedlings are planted on three acres near Gainesville where the Gormans have created a habitat for many pollinators and wildlife. They have planted a long list of native perennials among the existing trees and shrubs. A few of the many plants include six species of Asclepias, five species of Phlox, three species of Lobelia, three species of Echinacea, and a large collection of other perennials. Congratulations on receiving the gold award and thanks for advocating for butterflies and their host plants!
