GNPS and Fringed Campion Chapter volunteers will partner with other local groups to tackle invasive plants at Amerson RIver Park in Macon, GA on May 27, 2023 from 8-10 a.m.
Protect our environment by restoring habitat and preserving biodiversity!
Bring your chain saw or hand saw and your loppers! Wear long pants and sleeves, gloves, boots, and a hat! Bring a water bottle (or 2)! Let’s remove the Bradford pears, privet, Chinese tallow, and thorny olive out of this beautiful park and trail!
Participants will be asked to read and sign a GNPS participation waiver at the event.
