Clearing away the saw briars at Buffalo Creek

We’ve been clearing the area that will be the entrance to Buffalo Creek Trail from the new Greenbelt walking trail and will always welcome an extra pair of hands!  We haven’t starting planting yet as we remove invasive plants and consider some serious drainage issues created by a culvert being run under the Greenbelt pavement.  This causes the entrance area to be flooded so we’re waiting for a meeting with the Greenbelt team and the County maintenance to see what can be done to alleviate the problem.  Join us if you can March 19 and 22 from 10-noon
