Work on the Red, Blue, and Purple Trails continued throughout the summer. One June 21, the MGEV’s weeded, watered and pulled privet. Scouts and MGEV’s removed privet and controlled invasive vines on the Red Trail on July 23. And, on August 9 a crew of MGEV’s prepared the Purple Trail for the installation of educational signs while others cleared weeds and privet in the Azalea Garden. Thanks to construction by CEC and donations by Home Depot the Blue Bird Houses were installed as well.
