The Athens-East Piedmont chapter will be joining forces with the Athens Clarke County Master Gardeners to participate in The Great Southeast Pollinator Census. This will be a fun activity for the whole family! If you don’t know bugs or are a counting newbie, don’t worry! There will be plenty of knowledgeable people on site to help you with insect ID, and provide you with information about the Pollinator Census. There will be activities for the kids including butterfly crafts and native bee exploration, as well as lots of of native plant information for adults. This is event is free and open to everyone! The event will be held Saturday, August 23rd from 10 am – 1 pm at the Athens-Clarke County Extension office at 275 Cleveland Road, Bogart 30622.
