Out past Sandy Plains, in a wonderfully forested neighborhood, lies the Hess property, a lovingly maintained mix of open space, gardens, and forest. It is a tribute to how it is possible to have the expansive front lawn that keeps the neighborhood happy while dwarfing it with native plants of all sizes.
