Centerville Library Native Plant Garden Workdays
October 2 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Join us for a workday at the Centerville Library (206 Gunn Rd. Centerville, GA 31028) Native Plant Garden on Friday, October 2, 2026 and again on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 9 to 11 am. No gardening or physical skills necessary. We will need some to do weeding and moving plants, and some to give us ideas and help identify and map plants in the garden. All are welcome!
Dress for garden work (long pants, long sleeves, gloves, hat, work boots). Bring a water bottle and tools for weeding/planting if you have them. Gloves and tools will be provided, but volunteers are also welcome to bring their own.
Participants must be 12 years of age or older, and participants under 18 years of age must have an adult present. Participants will also be asked to sign the Georgia Native Plant Society Liability Waiver upon arrival at the event.
The event may be cancelled due to weather. We will work in light rain but not stormy weather.
