Invasive removal and habitat restoration work continues at Herbert Taylor Park & Daniel Johnson Park in midtown Atlanta (Morningside near Emory) with tasks for all ages and levels of experience. Wear closed toe shoes, long sleeves and pants as there is poison ivy.  Dress for the weather/uneven terrain, bring your own water, bug spray, and sunscreen.  Meet at the kiosk for the park at 1343 Pasadena Av. for introductions, instructions, and a safety briefing then set off to work. Bring your own gloves and tools or borrow some of ours. Learn to use a weed wrench and how to properly control invasive species while discovering native plants.
