How to Tackle Invasive Plants in Atlanta

Come learn about the best way to remove invasive plants! Presentation from 1:00 pm – 3pm by Taryn Heidel. Taryn has six years of experience with invasive species control. She was the Forest Restoration Manager for Trees Atlanta, and now works for the City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation.

Refreshments will be available and all attendees can participate in a raffle for free native plant related surprises.

Following the presentation, Emory Ecological Society will host an English ivy pull on campus. All volunteers welcome!

Parking is free at the visitor parking decks on the Emory Campus on weekends. Park in the Peavine visitor parking lot or the Oxford Road Building parking garage.
