Join Birds Georgia and The Fringed Campion Chapter of the Georgia Native Plant Society for a morning spent identifying and treating a suite of common invasive plant species at Amerson River Park. We will focus on the “Fearsome Five” Chinese Privet, Nandina, English Ivy, Bahia Grass, and Autumn Fern. Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes, a hat, and gloves, and bring a water bottle, snacks, and tools if you have them. We will have some loaner gloves, loppers, and shovels. Meet in the parking lot near the overlook.
