Late Night Mothing and Bat Watching
June 28 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Join the Fringed Campion Chapter at Technical Large Animal Emergency Rescue (1787 GA-18, Macon, GA 31217) on June 28, 2026 from 8 to 10 PM as we wrap up Pollinator Week with mothing and bat watching. At sundown, we’ll watch the local colony of Mexican Free Tailed bats depart for their nightly flight, then transition to an evening of mothing to learn more about our nocturnal pollinators!
*** SPECIAL NOTE FOR MOTHING ENTHUSIASTS***
We will have one mothing station set up on site, but welcome others to bring sheets and lights to set up additional stations. Please email andrew.benesh@gnps.org if you would like to help set up additional stations!
