Native Plant Day at the Museum of Arts and Sciences

June 25, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

$10
Native Plant Day at the Museum of Arts and Sciences

Join us for Native Plant Day on June 25 from 10 am to noon at the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Macon, Georgia.

Fringed Campion chapter is teaming up with the Master Gardeners of Central Georgia to celebrate the key role that native plants play in our Georgia ecosystems! Enjoy displays, a scavenger hunt, and a native plant sale on the Sweetgum Trail from 10 am until 12 noon. Complete a special craft with MAS personnel inside the museum, and attend a presentation on the importance of native plants in the Auditorium at 11 am. Plus, those who attend the presentation can enter a drawing to win a Family Annual Membership to the MAS!

Not a member of MAS? No worries!  You can join that day, or take advantage of the partnership between MAS and the Library, in which MAS entry passes can be checked out.

We’d love for you to stop by and participate, but we’d also love to have you join us as a volunteer or donate plants to the plant sale.  We also need plenty of volunteers to help us share our excitement for native plants with MAS visitors.  Sign up at https://forms.gle/YVQsmGsBdfPYGamU6
