Fringed Campion members and friends and soon to be friends are all invited on a nature walk at the North Macon Park on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at 2 pm. Enjoy this short loop trail with native plant enthusiasts as we seek our favorite spring ephemerals. At this site, we will see the effect that non-native invasive plants have on our native trillium population. Bingo cards will be available to fill out while we walk and identify the various plants, both native and non-native. Full mobility is required – trail is uneven and overgrown. Dress for the weather, wear comfortable hiking footwear, and bring a water bottle.
