Maintenance of the Old City Cemetery native plant garden in Macon continues this spring. Join the Fringed Campion Chapter members and friends to tend the OCC Native Plant Garden as they perform routine volunteer activities such as weeding, watering, and spreading compost and mulch.

Recommended attire: long pants, long sleeves, gloves, hat, work boots. Water and restrooms are not available at this location. Bring a water bottle for self care! The chapter does have tools to share, but any tools you have to dig, weed, or spread are also helpful.

Participants must be 12 or older, and participants under 18 must have an adult present. All participants must sign the GNPS waiver of liability before working.

Workdays are planned to occur on Sundays from 9 to 11 am on Feb. 9, 2025, March 16, 2025, and May 4, 2025.
