Weed Wrangle at the Oakridge Section of Rose Hill Cemetery

April 27 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Fringed Campion Chapter will once again join forces with Rose Hill Restoration & Preservation, Inc. for a Weed Wrangle (aka “Happy to Work Day”) in the Oakridge Cemetery section of Rose Hill Cemetery in Macon, GA on April 27, 2024 at 2 p.m.
We will be clearing this section of the cemetery of non-native invasive plant species (English ivy, privet, mimosa, Bradford pear, Chinese tallow, paper mulberry). We recommend long pants, long sleeves, gloves, hat, boots to protect from briars, poison ivy, and the sun.)  Bring a water bottle and any tools you have to cut or lop undesirable plants.
Participants must be 12 years or older, participants under 18 must have an adult participating, and all participants must sign the GNPS waiver of liability before working.
