Each year we like to make you aware of seasonal native plant sales. Here is a list of all that we’ve collected for the fall from one end of Georgia to the other (including Chattanooga for those in the very north). Most of them are dedicated to native plants but a few have a mix; research your choices carefully to know what you’re getting. If in doubt, ask the seller directly “Is this native to Georgia?” If you know of a local sale that will have native plants and is not included here, be sure to let us know at info@gnps.org.
Sep. 6-Oct. 8 Trees Atlanta online sale (pick up Oct 11-12) and in-person on Oct. 19. There are a few non-native plants in this sale.
Sep. 14 – Covington, Windy Hill Nursery, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Sep. 14-15 – Decatur, Woodlands Garden (not all native plants). Shoppers must reserve a spot beforehand.
Sep. 15 – Sandy Springs, Lost Corner Preserve with Wild Roots, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Sep. 21 – Carrollton, West Georgia Chapter of GNPS, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Sep. 21 – Darien, Coastal Wildscapes, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (includes GNPS Coastal Plain Chapter sales).
Sep. 21 – Marietta, Drew’s Fall Plant Sale, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. (not all native plants).
Sep. 27-28 – Roswell, Chattahoochee Nature Center, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Sep. 26 is CNC Members only.)
Sep. 27-28 – Gainesville, Hall County Master Gardener Fall Expo, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (not all native plants).
Sep. 28 – Albany, Coastal Plain Chapter of GNPS, Flint RiverQuarium Water, Wings and Wildlife Festival, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Sep. 28 – Atlanta, Historic Oakland Cemetery, 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (not all native plants). Shoppers must reserve a time.
Sep. 28 – Sautee Nacoochee Cultural Center, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Sep. 28 – Tucker, Church Street Greenspace with Wild Roots, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Oct. 5 – Chattanooga, TN – Wild Ones, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Oct. 5 – Tifton, Coastal Plain Chapter of GNPS at the Tifton Farmers Market, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Oct. 10-12 – Athens, State Botanical Garden, 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Thu. & Fri., 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sat.
Oct. 12 – Atlanta, Cliff Valley School with Wild Roots, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Oct. 12 – Macon, Fringed Campion Chapter of GNPS, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
