GNPS is partnering with Beecatur of Decatur on Sunday June 23rd to facilitate a free showing of Hometown Habitat: Stories of Bringing Nature Home, a 90-minute film showcasing stories of people and groups who have effected change in their communities by applying Doug Tallamy’s message that native plants are critical to the survival and vitality of local ecosystems.

The film will be shown at Decatur Library at 1 pm and will be followed by a brief presentation on one of GNPS’s restoration sites. GNPS members will also be staffing tables outside the auditorium with information on our community restoration efforts. This is a free event and we encourage you to bring a friend for this very inspirational film.
