The chapter will return to the Wesleyan Market on Oct. 14 from 9 am until 1 pm for it’s fall native plant sale.

Help us get native plants into neighbors’ yards!  If you have extra native plants that you have been propagating or native perennials in your yard that need to be divided, the plant sale committee would be delighted to take them off your hands.  Also, volunteers are needed the day of the sale to set up the booth, share native plant info with shoppers, and to help pack up and clean up after the sale.  A sign up form for both to offer donations and to volunteer can be found here: https://forms.gle/AdwByPHVhqLDot256

The spring and fall native plant sales are the chapter’s largest fundraisers.  Money generated from the sale of member donated plants is used for chapter projects including the Amerson River Park Native Plant Garden & Monarch Waystation, the native plant garden at the Centerville Branch of the Houston County Library System, tools for volunteers to use at invasive plant removal workdays, printing of educational handouts, and much more.

We hope to see you at the sale!
