Five GNPS members met at the Henderson Nature Sanctuary at Berkeley Lake to combat weeds, like Liriope, English ivy, privet sprouts, sweet autumn clematis. The flowering herbaceous plants had been cut back in preparation for the winter.
After weeding, we enjoyed lunch together.
The next scheduled workday will be Wednesday, December 28, 2016, 10:00 – 12:00, when we plan to continue Liriope removal and to plant a mass of green-and-gold.
