Report of Berkeley Lake workday March 28, 2018
Four GNPS members met at the Henderson Nature Sanctuary at Berkeley Lake to pull cat’s paws, Japanese honeysuckle, and liriope. Poison ivy is greening up. After weeding, we enjoyed lunch together. Silver bell, Halesia tetraptera, was blooming; may-apples, Podophyllum peltatum, were in full leaf and will bloom soon.
The next scheduled workday will be Wednesday, April 25, 2018, 10:00 – 12:00, when we will again remove weeds.
