Georgia Native Plant Society is proud to partner with the State Botanical Garden of Georgia to sponsor two scholarships for the Certificate in Native Plants program. The Certificate in Native Plants includes a comprehensive series of courses in the identification, propagation and conservation of Georgia’s native plants and the ecosystems that support them, with an emphasis on participatory learning.
The scholarship will pay for all the Certificate in Native Plants coursework (a total of $750). In return, the scholarship recipients must complete the program within two years and complete their volunteer work with GNPS.
The application period is March 1 – April 30. The applications will be reviewed in mid-May, and two scholarship recipients will be notified by the end of May.
