SMPP has started over 30 different plants from seed from perennials, shrubs, trees and vines. The majority are in the hoop greenhouse. Though the outside nursery stock has benefitted from the regular rainfall during December and January, the cloudy, cool weather has had some effect on seed sprouting as the greenhouse didn’t reach 70 + degrees for any length of time.
We moved pots of Virginia bluebells, Stoke’s aster and columbine to the greenhouse in preparation for sale at the Symposium in March.
