Spring 2025 Plant Sales are Here!

 

Each year we like to make you aware of seasonal native plant sales. Here is a list of all that we have collected from one end of Georgia to the other (including Chattanooga for those in the very north). Most of them are dedicated to native plants but a few have a mix; research your choices carefully to know what you’re getting. If in doubt, ask the seller directly “Is this native to Georgia?”

This list is updated as we become aware of events. If you know of a native plant sale that is not listed here, please email info@gnps.org with the information. Happy spring and happy shopping!

March 7-24 – Trees Atlanta Online Sale

March 15 and 29 – Birdsong Nature Center, Thomasville, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

March 19 – Georgia Native Plant and Wildflower Symposium, Tifton, 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. in between programs. 

March 28-29 – Chattahoochee Nature Center, Roswell, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

March 29 – Wild Ones TN Valley, Chattanooga, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

March 29 – Wild Roots Native Nursery Plant Sale at the Cliff Valley School, Atlanta, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

April 4-5 – Chattahoochee Nature Center, Roswell, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

April 4-5 – Hall County Master Gardener Spring Expo, Gainesville, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday (only part native plants).

April 5 – Beech Hollow Wildflower Farm Spring Fling, Scottdale, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

April 5 – Coastal Wildscapes, Darien, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

April 5 – Trees Atlanta at the Carter Center, Atlanta, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.

April 5 – Wild Roots Native Nursery Plant Sale at Lost Corner Preserve, Sandy Springs, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

April 5-6 – Botanic Garden at Georgia Southern University, Statesboro, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, 12 – 4 p.m. Sunday (only part native plants). 

April 12 – North Metro Atlanta Chapter at Garden Faire, Alpharetta, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

April 12 – Fringed Campion Chapter at Weslyan Market, Macon, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

April 12 – Wylde Center Spring Plant Festival, Decatur, time TBA (only part native plants).

April 12 – Drew’s Plant Nursery Sale, Eastside Baptist Church, Marietta. Check website for time (only part native plants).

April 18-19 – Cobb County Master Gardeners Plant Sale Expo, Marietta, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (only part native plants)

April 19 – Fernbank Science Center Plant Expo, Decatur, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

April 19 – State Botanical Garden of Georgia, Athens, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. (only part native plants).

April 19 – West Georgia Chapter, Carrollton, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

April 19 – North Metro Atlanta Chapter Pop-Up Sale, Old Rucker Park, Alpharetta, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

April 25-26 – Drew’s Plant Nursery Sale at The Gardens at Kennesaw Mountain, Kennesaw. Check website for time (only part native plants).

April 26 – Wild Roots Native Nursery Plant Sale at the Tucker Greenspace, Tucker, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

May 3 – Coastal Plain Chapter at Rosalynn Carter Butterfly Symposium, Plains Community Center, Plains, 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

May 3 – Athens-East Piedmont Chapter, Winterville, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

May 17 – Fringed Campion Chapter at Payne Mill Antique/Smoke Stack Farmers Market, Macon, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

June 21 – National Pollinator Week Festival with Bee City USA, Decatur, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

June 28 – Reptile Rally at Bear Creek Nature Center, Chattahoochee Hills, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Ongoing – Warner Robbins Native Plant Center, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. every Thursday and Saturday this spring.

None of those sales work for you? Be sure to check our page of native plant nurseries, especially the ones marked “Primarily Natives.” Many of your local small nurseries may have extended hours and specials this time of year.
