Our meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month from 10 am to 12 pm, generally at the Union County Public Library in Blairsville unless we are having a field trip. We will update this post as more details are available about each meeting/field trip.

Our Native Plant Sale is Saturday May 30th, 8 am to 1 pm EDT, at the Union County Farmer’s Market at 290 Farmers Mkt Wy, Blairsville.

Our April gathering was a field trip to Five Ridges to see rhododendrons and other blooming plants on Saturday the 11th, mid-day. More details to come, but this trip will likely be limited to 15 people.

At our March 14th meeting, Ellen Honeycutt covered Pollinator Paradise.

At our February 14th meeting, Christa Hamill spoke on Native Plants: An Interpretive Exploration. This covered a variety of things such as how to promote native plant advocacy, environmental history, the impact of some non-natives due to non-awareness, and reuniting natives to the environment.

At our January 10th meeting, Glen Henderson was our speaker with a presentation on “The Gardens, Which Plants For Which Environments, Sources For Plants”.
