Creating Meadow Habitats for Pollinators:
Join us for a workshop on creating meadow habitats for pollinators.  The workshop will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, Georgia.  We will discuss the features of good meadow habitat and meadow establishment practices.  We will focus in detail on the native grass and wildflower species that pollinators depend on.  And we will spend some time on the pollinator species that we are trying to support.  We will be in a classroom for the first half of the workshop.  For the second half we will go out in the field to look at species on the ground.  The class is limited to 20 people and will be available to participants on a first come first serve basis.  The workshop will be from 10:00am to 2:00pm with a break in the middle of the day for lunch.  If you want to participate, send an email to Walter Bland at jwbland3@gmail.com to register.  Please include your name, contact information and phone number.  Walter will reply with directions and other important information for participants.
