Exploring Georgia’s Native Plants: The Habitat-Friendly HOA Yard with Laura Markson

May 13 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Virtual Event

The essential need to view our yards as ecologically functional sources of life gives each of us an opportunity to help repair the natural world—right where we live.

Join Laura Markson for an engaging exploration of how to create a Habitat-Friendly HOA Yard. This presentation will highlight both the why and the how—from increasing biodiversity to providing safe, supportive habitat for wildlife, all within the framework of typical HOA guidelines.

You’ll learn practical strategies such as incorporating native plants, adding simple water sources, and adopting “do no harm” practices. Laura will also share tips on how to be an effective advocate for more sustainable, wildlife-friendly approaches within your own HOA community.

Whether you’re just getting started or already on your journey, you’ll walk away inspired to make at least one meaningful change in your own yard—along with resources to help you take the next step.
