Join Ellen Honeycutt for native plant identification walk at the Big Trees Forest Preserve in Sandy Springs. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. The path is firm but narrow with a few rocks or roots here and there. We will meet in the parking lot of Big Trees Forest Preserve at 7645 Roswell Rd, Sandy Springs, GA 30350. The North Metro Atlanta Chapter presents an educational event, Native Plants of the Cherokee, at the Alpharetta Library on August 13th, 2022 featuring Mark Warren. Mark Warren is owner of the nationally renowned Medicine Bow Wilderness School in Dahlonega, GA, has been teaching nature and survival skills of the Cherokee to adults and children for half a century.The library is next to City Hall in downtown Alpharetta.
