The GNPS Heritage Park volunteers would like to invite everyone in GNPS to our annual privet pull and chili cook-off. This year’s event is on Saturday, 2/14/15 from 10 AM until noon, when lunch will be served at the Park pavilion. Kathleen Lemley of the Cobb County Water Stewardship Program will join us with an exuberant group of middle-schoolers and their parents. These kids’ energy is contagious. It’s a chance not only to help the Park, but to educate and encourage the environmental awareness of the future generation.
The Park always looks more native after our annual privet pull. I hope many of our members will join us in this fun and productive time. The Park is located at 60 Fontaine Road, Mableton, GA 30126.
