Use these links to access helpful instructions.

Note: We recently changed the interface of our Member Portal, and the actions described below all involve the portal. In most cases, instead of accessing a function from a drop-down menu on the right, it is done with one of the Portal Pages on the left. The background and formatting of the Member Portal are also different. We will update these illustrations soon, but meanwhile, contact us at membership@gnps.org if you have a problem not answered here.

How do I update my credit card?

1. Go to GNPS.org and start by logging in from the top right.

2. After logging in, you should see this screen. Click on Manage Membership (two times, if necessary, in some cases).

3. From the “What would you like to do?” dropdown, select “Renew or view my membership“.

4. On the next page, your current membership will be on top.

5. Click on Edit and enter your new credit card information. Click Submit when done.

How do I update my chapter affiliation?

1. Go to GNPS.org and start by logging in from the top right.

2. After logging in, you should see this screen.  Click on Manage Membership (two times, if necessary, in some cases). (continued below)

3. From the “What would you like to do?” dropdown, select “Update your chapter affiliation.” (continued below)

4. On the next page, select your chapter affiliation from the dropdown. Be sure to click on “Submit” after you have made your selection.

How do I turn on auto-renewal?

1. Go to GNPS.org and start by logging in from the top right.

2. After logging in, you should see this screen.  Click on Manage Membership (two times, if necessary, in some cases). (continued below)

3. From the “What would you like to do?” dropdown, select “Renew or view my membership.” (continued below)

4. On the next page, your current membership will be on top. Click on ‘Set-up’ under Auto-Renewal. (continued below)

5. Enter your credit card information on the next page and click submit. (continued below)

6. You will now see ‘On – Edit -Turn Off’ under Auto-Renewal, confirming that auto-renewal is set up.

How do I turn off auto-renewal?

1. Go to GNPS.org and start by logging in from the top right.

3. From the “What would you like to do?” dropdown, select “Renew or view my membership.” (continued below)

4. On the next page, your current membership will be on top. Click on ‘Turn Off’ under Auto-Renewal. (continued below)

5. You will see this warning message. Click OK. (continued below)

6. After clicking OK, you will see ‘Off-Set-up’ under Auto-Renewal. This confirms that auto-renewal has been turned off.
