Thanks to the hard work of the Coweta County MGEV’s and grants from the Community, new signs and markers have been installed on the James McGuffey Nature Trails and in the Nature Center Pavillon.  Four Podium signs were placed on the Purple Trail, a welcome sign, a sign depicting the most egregious invasives, a sign showing native ferns and one sign that speaks to encouraging wildlife. The seven new signs in the Pavilion talk about the place of native plants in our history and environment,  the need for pollinators, and two signs that discuss the importance of water management. The signs are meant to help the Public learn and understand the place of Native Plants in our environment and how they can help restore balance to the eco-system.
