On Saturday, February 27, a group including Coweta County MGEV’s and Coweta County Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts met at the beginning of the Blue Trail to remove privet. The Girl Scouts were particularly good at using our new “Privet Puller.” After clearing away the over growth we even found several native ferns and a lovely little cedar that will now have the space and sun to grow. Another “Privet Pull” is planned soon to continue the process.
