Welcome to WD Thomson Park in DeKalb County! The Friends of Thomson Park have three upcoming monthly workdays during the fall of 2022:
– Saturday, Oct 15, 9:00am to 12:00pm
– Sunday, November 20, 2:00pm to 5:00pm
– Sunday, December 11, 2:00pm to 5:00pm
Note that we shift to our fall/winter days (Sundays) and times (2-5pm) in November. Work in our native habitat restoration site usually includes invasive removal and control, and spreading of hardwood mulch. And!!… In November and December we will be putting a lot more plants in the ground!
Be sure to bring work gloves. We will supply water and any tools that may be needed. Please note that there are no restroom facilities in the park.
Thomson Park is located at 1760 Mason Mill Rd., Decatur, GA, 30033. We meet in the lower parking lot near the open field.
