Report of Berkeley Lake workday August 24, 2016
Six GNPS members met at the Henderson Nature Preserve Park at Berkeley Lake to combat weeds, like Liriope, Microstegium, mulberry weed, and chamberbitter. A pair of cloudless sulphurs were enjoying the cardinal flowers. We were accompanied by the sounds of a southern summer, the songs of cicadas.
After weeding, we enjoyed lunch together.
