Fringed Campion Chapter members and friends will gather at the Amerson River Park in the parking lot near the overlook on Saturday Sept. 23, 2023 from 9 until 11 a.m. to continue the efforts to eradicate invasive plants from the park’s ecosystem.
Wear long sleeves and closed-toe shoes, and bring a water bottle, gloves, and loppers if you got ’em! Participants must be 12 or older, and EVERYONE signs the GNPS waiver before working. An early arrival at the parking lot near the overlook will give everyone a time to sign the waiver and get oriented. Then we’ll get busy cutting privet, English ivy, Chinese tallow, and Bradford pear so that our native species can thrive!
