The Fringed Campion Chapter’s influence at Macon’s popular Amerson River Park is expanding and volunteer opportunities abound!

Members and friends will return on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 2 pm for another invasive plant removal, because let’s face it, while we are outnumbered by privets and eleagnus, we will not give up! (https://www.facebook.com/events/508209312283781)

Garden work attire is recommended (long pants, long sleeves, gloves, hat, work boots). Add layers for cold weather. Bring a water bottle and your favorite tools, but the chapter also has some to share. Drop in or stay the whole time, we appreciate the assistance!

Volunteers must be 12 years of age or older, and those 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers sign the GNPS waiver of liability before digging in.
