Gaskins Forest Education Center will host a free Native Grasses Workshop lead by Dr. Richard Carter of Valdosta State University. Weather permitting, the class will work on identifying grasses in the field; after lunch, the class will survey diagnostic features in the lab. The class will also cover identification of invasive grass species.
