Congratulations to Greg Lewis, Flat Creek Nursery, for earning gold certificate for GNPS Native Plant Habitat Certification program. In addition to several acres of wooded community on his property, Greg has been using a wide variety of native plants in landscaping around his home, taking advantage of variations in shade and moisture. His latest project has been converting an area of pasture to a meadow of native forbs which will provide a demonstration garden of plants that he propagates at his nursery. His next project will be to develop a bog garden on the site to feature wetland plants.
