August will bring many opportunities for Fringed Campion Chapter members and friends to help with projects in the Middle Georgia area.

At the Amerson River Park Native Plant Garden & Monarch Waystation, Weeding and Watering activities will resume on August 9th, on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 until 7:30 and on Sunday mornings, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.

At the Centerville Branch of the Houston County Public Library (206 Gunn Road Centerville, GA) on August 12, from 7:30 until 10:30 a.m., chapter volunteers will be installing a native plant garden in the bed at the front of the library.

If you would like to be included in the emails about workdays at the Old City Cemetery Project in Macon, or upcoming Downtown Macon projects, please contact Billie Cook.

For any of these workdays, gardening attire (long pants, hat, gloves, shoes that can get muddy) and tools are recommended. Also bring a lawn chair if you would like a spot to take a rest.
