Alex Dileo has zero lawn on her small urban lot in the Oakland City neighborhood in Atlanta. Ironweed (Vernonia spp.), oakleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea quercifolia), dwarf fothergilla (Fothergilla gardenii), purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea), and blueberries (Vaccinium spp.) all grow in her front yard. Yaupon hollies (Ilex vomitoria) form a screen between neighbors. Various ferns and wildflowers are found in the back yard. Congratulations to Alex on your gold level certification!
