The Fringed Campion Chapter welcomes volunteers on Saturday, March 9. 2024 from 10 am until noon at the Old City Cemetery in Macon, GA. We plan to weed, plant, and add fabulous and informative plant ID markers so that visitors can learn about the Georgia native plants near the entrance and in the prairie.
Wear long sleeves and pants, appropriate work shoes, a hat, and bug spray. Bring gloves, tools, and a water bottle. If time permits, we will continue working on the downtown planter gardens at Macon Arts Alliance and Visit Macon.
Volunteers must be at 12 years old or older, and must sign the GNPS waiver of liability before working.
